ABOUT ME

Sofia Silva is an anthropology student and educational content creator based in Chicago, Illinois.

With a background in film and editing, and a strong love for education, her work blends visual storytelling, with the creation of learning materials, including games, videos, and self-published projects..

She has collaborated with authors and artists on independent publishing projects. Through her personal project, Amigas Press, she develops self-published books, educational tools, including a card game focused on learning language through play.

Her work is grounded in language, women and children’s experiences,  culturally grounded perspectives, and migration.
